On March 20, 2010 our Bancroft Elementary School students’ welcomed the spring season by participating in the Kites of Asia Festival at the National Air and Space Museum.
Our students enjoyed making and designing their own Asian kites. They learned different typed of kites from Thailand, Mongolia and even making simple kites from ordinary paper. The students received their written names in Mongolian characters.
This was also an opportunity for some of our parents to have fun with their kids.
